Pure and Certified Organic Reishi — Ganoderma lucidum — the most revered mushroom in East-Asian herbal tradition, prized for over 2,000 years, grown in Portugal. Naturally rich in triterpenoids, beta-glucans, and polysaccharides.
For calm, balance and overall vitality — taken daily, morning or evening, as the foundation of any functional mushroom ritual.
What's reishi
Ganoderma lucidum — Reishi — is the most revered functional mushroom in East-Asian herbal tradition, with a recorded history of use spanning over 2,000 years. Known as Lingzhi (灵芝) in Chinese — "the mushroom of immortality" or "the divine fungus" — it was historically reserved for emperors and royalty in ancient China. In Japan it is known as Reishi and holds an equally honoured place. In Korean traditional medicine it is known as Yeongji. Three independent East-Asian herbal cultures, across thousands of years, converging on the same mushroom as the most valuable in existence.
Gribb grows Reishi on their own certified-organic farm in Portugal under PT-BIO-10 and dual-extracts it — hot water to release the water-soluble beta-glucans and polysaccharides, and organic alcohol to release the triterpenoids (ganoderic acids) and other fat-soluble compounds that a hot-water-only extraction cannot reach — standardised to 32–40% beta-glucans (β1,3/β1,6).
This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Ideal for
- You want the single most revered functional mushroom in herbal history at its most concentrated Reishi is in more Gribb products than any other mushroom — every blend, every beverage, multiple tinctures. The standalone tincture delivers 100% Reishi at 2,000mg per dose, dual-extracted for the complete bioactive spectrum including ganoderic acid triterpenoids. The most Reishi in the range, in the format that captures everything.
- You want the full Reishi profile — including the triterpenoids that powders miss Reishi's triterpenoids — particularly the ganoderic acid family — are fat-soluble and require an alcohol extraction stage to be released. A hot-water-only powder extraction captures Reishi's beta-glucans and polysaccharides but leaves the triterpenoid layer behind. Gribb's dual extraction captures both. For anyone who takes Reishi seriously, the tincture is the more complete format.
- You want to build your functional mushroom foundation on the mushroom that 2,000 years of herbal tradition chose Three independent East-Asian herbal traditions — Chinese, Japanese, and Korean — each independently arrived at the same conclusion: Reishi is the most valuable functional mushroom. Not one tradition, not a consensus built over a few generations, but 2,000 years of convergent herbal wisdom across geographically separate cultures. Grown in Portugal by Gribb.

What to expect
Ritual beats intensity. Same time, every day. That's the whole game.
WEEK 1–2
Your body is absorbing and adjusting to the blend. The functional mushrooms
and adaptogenic botanicals need time to build in your system — most people
notice little change yet and that is completely normal. Stay consistent.
WEEK 3
This is usually when subtle shifts begin. Days feel slightly more even. The
afternoon dip that used to derail you starts to feel less sharp. Not a spike —
a steadier floor.
MONTH 1+
The cumulative effect. Most people at this point notice the difference on the
days they forget to take it. The vitality feels like yours — not something
borrowed from caffeine.

prevent any disease.
Why dual extraction matter
Most functional mushroom products use a single extraction — which means they only capture part of what this mushroom has to offer.
Gribb's tincture uses a dual-extraction process: first with hot water to release the water-soluble beta-glucans, then with organic alcohol to extract the fat-soluble compounds. The two extracts are then combined into a single, full-spectrum liquid. It's a more time-intensive method — and the reason this tincture delivers what a capsule or powder alone cannot.

Frequently Asked Questions
Gribb Organic Reishi Mushroom Tincture is a certified-organic dual-extracted liquid supplement made from 100% Ganoderma lucidum whole fruiting body, grown in Portugal under PT-BIO-10. Dual extraction: hot water (beta-glucans, polysaccharides) and organic alcohol (triterpenoids/ganoderic acids, fat-soluble compounds). 2,000mg per 1ml. Beta-glucans standardised 32–40% (β1,3/β1,6), lab-tested every batch. Naturally contains: beta-glucans, triterpenoids (ganoderic acids A–Z+), polysaccharides, ergosterol, adenosine. Organic alcohol 20–30%. 50ml = approx. 50 daily servings. Known as Lingzhi (Chinese), Reishi (Japanese), Yeongji (Korean) — the most revered functional mushroom in East-Asian herbal tradition. Vegan. No known allergens.
Ganoderma lucidum — known as Lingzhi (灵芝) in Chinese — has been recorded in Chinese herbal texts for over 2,000 years, including the Shennong Ben Cao Jing (The Classic of the Divine Farmer's Materia Medica), one of the oldest texts on Chinese medicine, dating to approximately 200 BC. In this foundational text, Lingzhi was classified in the highest tier of medicinal substances — those that "nourish life" and can be taken long-term without harm. It was historically so rare and prized that it was reserved for emperors and nobility, associated with longevity, wisdom and spiritual balance. In Japan it became known as Reishi and holds an equally elevated place in Japanese herbal tradition. In Korea as Yeongji. Three cultures, thousands of years, one mushroom consistently recognised as the most valuable — earning it the name "the mushroom of immortality."
Triterpenoids — specifically the ganoderic acid family (ganoderic acids A through Z and beyond, over 130 identified in Reishi) — are fat-soluble compounds that are unique to Reishi among common functional mushrooms. They are produced in significant concentrations in the fruiting body and are responsible for Reishi's distinctively bitter taste and much of its traditional herbal significance. Because they are fat-soluble, they require an organic alcohol solvent to be extracted from the mushroom matrix — hot water extraction alone cannot release them. A Reishi powder or a hot-water-only tincture provides the beta-glucans and polysaccharides but misses the entire triterpenoid layer. Gribb's dual extraction combines both stages — capturing beta-glucans (standardised to 32–40%, β1,3/β1,6) in the hot water stage and the complete ganoderic acid profile in the organic alcohol stage.
Reishi appears in more Gribb products than any other mushroom — the 5 and 8 Mushroom blends, the 5 Mushroom Tincture, multiple targeted formulas. In the 5 Mushroom Tincture, Reishi is at 20% of the formula. In the 8 Mushroom Tincture, it is at 12.5%. In the standalone Reishi Tincture, it is 100% — 2,000mg of pure Reishi per dose, dual-extracted with no other mushrooms sharing the formula. For those who want Reishi as their primary mushroom with maximum per-dose potency, the standalone tincture is the right format. For those who want broad-spectrum coverage across multiple mushrooms, the blend tinctures are more efficient. Many regular users take both — a blend tincture for daily breadth, plus standalone Reishi for additional depth on top.
Both are appropriate — Reishi is the most versatile mushroom in terms of timing. In the morning it works alongside coffee or other functional mushrooms as part of a daily herbal ritual, contributing to balance and equanimity through the day. In the evening it works as a calming wind-down tonic — Reishi has been traditionally associated with rest and restoration, and many people find an evening dose helps them feel settled before sleep. Unlike Cordyceps (which is more activating) or Rhodiola (which can affect some people's sleep), Reishi has no stimulating properties and is equally appropriate at any time. The choice comes down to personal preference and your existing ritual.

Yes — the tincture contains 20–30% organic alcohol, which is required for the dual-extraction process and acts as a natural preservative. At a standard 1ml dose, the amount is very small. To minimise it, add the drops to a hot drink — the heat causes most of the alcohol to evaporate quickly without affecting the mushroom compounds.
Each 50ml bottle contains approximately 50 daily servings at the recommended 1ml dose. At once daily, that's roughly 7 weeks. At twice daily, approximately 3–4 weeks.
Yes — this tincture is designed for daily use as part of a consistent wellness routine.
As with any supplement, if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or are taking medication, please consult your healthcare provider before starting. This is a food supplement, not a medicine, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
