Frequently Asked Questions
Both are organic functional mushroom cacao blends — but they are built for different ends of the day with deliberately different formulas.Morning Sunshine features Reishi and Lion's Mane at a higher dose (20% each) alongside an Ayurvedic spice blend of turmeric, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger — a warming, complex morning formula.Nightcup features Ashwagandha (EMA-recognised for temporary relief of mild stress and fatigue) at 6% as its adaptogenic layer, plus Reishi, Lion's Mane, and Chaga each at 15%, with Baobab and Cinnamon. Morning Sunshine is for mornings. Nightcup is for evenings and the 30–60 minutes before bed. Both contain theobromine from raw cacao.
It contains no coffee, but cacao naturally contains small amounts of caffeine and theobromine. Cacao is an adaptogen and when mixed with other calming adaptogens is a blend that can be taken at night to support sleep.
Baobab (Adansonia digitata) is the fruit powder of the iconic African baobab tree, sometimes called "the tree of life." It has been a traditional food source across sub-Saharan Africa for centuries, valued for its naturally high vitamin C content (approximately six times that of oranges per gram), its prebiotic fibre content, and its natural electrolytes including calcium, magnesium, and potassium. In Nightcup it contributes a subtle, fruity tartness that balances the deep richness of the raw cacao — and adds naturally occurring vitamin C and fibre to what is otherwise a rich, warming formula.
Reishi, Lion’s Mane and Chaga.
Mix 5g with approximately 150ml of hot water, milk or plant-based drink.
Yes — works well with hot dairy milk, oat milk, almond milk, or any other plant-based option. For the smoothest result with milk, dissolve the powder in a small amount of hot water first, then add your milk of choice. Oat milk in particular works beautifully with the earthy, roasted notes of the blend.
